Accountability/Oversight/Partnerships

Ministries In Action, Inc. is a nonprofit, faith-based 501(c) (3) organization. MIA has had a continuous accreditation by the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability (ECFA) since October 11, 1990.

Additionally, we hold both formal and informal associations with various churches, institutions of higher learning, and organizations that share our vision, theological beliefs, and philosophy. Included are: evangelical churches and denominations throughout North America, the Caribbean, and Latin America; Miami International Seminary; Covenant Theological Seminary; Reformed Theological Seminary; Westminster Theological Seminary; Pittsburgh Reformed Theological Seminary; Jamaica Bible College; and Mission to the World.

Ministries In Action owns no real estate anywhere in the world; everything we do is through local churches in the name of Christ and for the glory of God. All projects are owned and controlled by the local churches we serve and are supervised by local committees. MIA recruits short-term work and witness teams to assist local national churches in MIA-sponsored ministries.
