Gordon and Marilyn Woolard have been involved in missions (primarily with
international students) since they were in college at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and at Westminster Seminary. In the '80s Gordon, Marilyn and their four children lived in Brussels, Belgium. They taught principles of cross-cultural evangelism to European students through the International Fellowship of Evangelical students. In Brussels the Woolards came to love the French language. They made a
commitment to return to a ministry in French if God should open those doors. God did just that through an Mission To the World partnership with Ministries In Action.
The Woolards maintained their devotion to missions by working with internationals at Virginia Tech. Gordon also pastored Grace Covenant PCA in Blacksburg, VA for ten years. Those experiences help them in their teaching/discipleship among French-speaking Caribbean islanders and in South Florida. Gordon teaches a range of theological course through a combination of in person visits and written and telephone follow up. Gordon and
Marilyn also minister through relationships and share what they have learned from Scripture in 30 plus years of marriage.
