Jean Eneck Desir is a Ministries in Action Field representative in Haiti. He oversees MIA work projects in Guichard, Flammands, Cottin and Dariol. God has gifted him to interpret for missionaries, which is not an easy task. Jean Eneck is the co-pastor of the Baptist Evangelical Church of Mont-Rouis in Haiti. The senior pastor there is Joseph Andre Rigaud. Jean Eneck speaks English, French, Creole and Spanish. His hobbies are reading, swimming, singing and listening to Christian music. He also enjoys working with mission teams and teaching, evangelizing and counseling.
Jean Eneck was born in Haiti in 1972. He grew up in Haiti attending Catholic church and school. He accepted Christ as his personal savior in 1985. At that point he began attending and evangelical church in Haiti. In 1997 he obtained a college degree in accounting from Canada Technic School. He also received an English degree from the Genesis Mission in 1997.
In 1998, the Lord called Jean Eneck to Evangelical Seminary of Theology in Port-au-Prince (STEP). There he continued to hone his knowledge of theology and his understanding of God's plan and God's way.
In September of 2006 Jean Eneck went to the states to be trained by Pastor Bresile Saint Germain in Miami. In addition to honing his preaching and teaching skills he learned to help Christians learn to be fruitful and to understand how the church functions. His spiritual gift is preaching the gospel and teaching the lay leaders. Jean Eneck feels that God has called him to mission work and training of lay leaders in Haiti.
