IONA Centers for Theological Training
IONA's three-year curriculum is administered to registered students in their local areas and in the languages with which they are most comfortable. It includes Bible, Theology, and Ministry courses in an effort to balance these three important building blocks of Christian service. Knowledge of Bible content is foundational to all Christian witness and service, Theology holds the Christian to the realities of the Gospel, making him sound and biblically consistent, while the Ministry courses help students put into practice their understanding of the Bible. IONA students have the opportunity to work towards a Certificate or Diploma. Classes are offered in English, Spanish, Portuguese, and French, and are currently meeting in North America, Grenada, Jamaica, Mexico, Brazil, Bolivia, Colombia, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, and Martinique. IONA graduates qualify to enter the Bachelors program in the Miami International Seminary (MINTS) with which IONA has a close working relationship. Additionally, enrichment seminars are offered through IONA for lay persons. Topics include: Application of the Gospel, Practical Theology, Family Life, and Personal Discipleship. IONA courses and workshops are taught by pastors and visiting professors from well-respected churches and seminaries.
